Update

I'm back with another update. This one will be short, cause I really don't have that much to mention. I think in my last post I mentioned making my biggest deposit to a site.. which didn't happen. Instead I took a deposit of $100 and split it between 2 sites.

It all WOULD have been on one site, but they liked declining the credit cards for some reason. So I deposited $50 on PokerStars, and $50 on Ultimatebet. I really like UB, and it seems to like me. In retrospect, I probably should've put all 100 there..but that matters not because..

2 days ago, I decided to join a $5 rebuy tourney. I don't rebuy..if I go out, I'm either not getting cards, or someone else is catching crap hands to win..so that doesn't happen. I do however do a double addon when given the option. Out of about 250 people, I went out 15th, making $30. Yeah, I made a profit, but I don't feel it was worth my time.

Yesterday, I was in another $5 rebuy (both on UB..again no rebuys, double addon.) 4 hours later, I went out 12th, for an extra $10 (from the other rebuy) for a total of $40ish. Then another $5 tourney (mtt, no rebuy) with about 60 people. Top 8 paid, and I went out 7th I believe for around $10.

So technically, I SHOULD be up about $70 from my initial deposit.. but I guess I lost some in some ring games, and random tournaments. In the end, I'm up a lil over double of my initial deposit.. so I can't really complain (better up than down ;)).

On a side note: Wanted to thank grundy (who commented on my last post) for giving me a way to check traffic to my blog. I've started using it, so lets see how it goes.

Falling behind..

Well, I'm back with a new post. It's been a day or two, and originally I planned on posting every day. But since I don't think I get that many readers, if any at all yet..I don't really see a point.

But I'm here to post now. So here goes... as far as real life's concerned, I got a job (yay) so I can afford some poker. ;) I'm a delivery driver for a place called Garlic Jim's Gourmet Pizza. Poker related news: I placed second in a 45 man SNG yesterday, after being chip leader the whole way through. Been a few years since I got that far in a mtt sng. Um..gettin pretty close to being broke, so I'm glad for my job. I've been getting cold cards all day, so I don't see me winning anything today, as I haven't so far, and probably won't.

I'm hating FT more and more by the day, unfortunately their SNGs pay better than PokerStars'. So I'm here for now, although I posted a poll on CC (the poker forum I mentioned in my first post) to see which of the 2 sites I should make my next (and biggest) deposit on. For all I know though, I may go to UltimateBet..as their jackpot tables are really tempting.

Didn't do so well in the FT Freeroll today, but I made it through at least 710 people, which isn't bad.

I started a new mini-BR of $50 on Full Tilt.. and did a couple ST SNG's. My results are:

#1: 2nd Place
#2: 9th Place
#3: 4th Place
#4: 2nd Place
#5: 2nd Place

So I placed ITM 3 out of 5 times, for a profit of: $2.75 - So I'm up for the day..not by much, but up is up..we'll aim for more tomorrow.

Hello readers (which I think at this time is 0).. time to start a new poker day. Superbowl Sunday too..I hope the Giants win, that would be awesome..damn Pats. Anyway, back to poker stuff.

I'm here waiting for the CC FR on FT..4.5 hours to go. Top 3 places paid out of 900..not getting a good feeling about this one, but we'll see how it goes. I'm in my first (and last) SnG at FT for the day. 45 people..just started, so maybe I'll place in this one, hopefully. If not, don't even think I'll be able to afford the limit games..so it'll be back to PokerStars to keep working on building my $2.50 BR..

Went out 62nd (or 64th?) in the CC PS Freeroll when my KJ got outkicked by KQ.

Bought in to a 45 seat SnG at FT and went out 25th pushing all in (with 850) with pocket 4s for some reason. Got called with pocket aces. As if I wasn't already dominated, he rivered a straight.

Up about .60-.80c at PS where I've been playing the .2/.4 limit with my $2..so that's a plus.

I got about 1 more SnG I can afford at Full Tilt, before I'm 25c short of one more buy in.

First Blog

Well, here it is, my very first blog. Not really sure why I'm making one, since I haven't much of a life which leaves me nothing to say really.

It will probably be about poker, mostly, for now at least, as it's my main hobby. So, at the start of my first blog, I have maybe like $5 spread out between a few poker sites. I guess I'm going to start a climb like Chris Ferguson, and hope to place in a decent enough freeroll to start building a bankroll.

I believe I need to do a lot of studying first tho, cause since starting poker again within the past MONTH, I'm down roughly $1500-2000 between live and online poker (ouch).. so instead of depositing some cash (which I've done enough for now) - maybe being broke will force me to get better at tournaments and playing in general so I can earn money that way.

Hey, if Chris Ferguson can do it, so can I........right? So, I'm about to be in a PokerStars freeroll hosted by CardsChat (awesome forum, I'd post a link, but most of you will be from there already.)

I'll be posting updates here, if there's anything worth mentioning, and probably some random ramblings here and there ;)
